Making Time
The Bird Box makes beautiful, handmade, sustainably-sourced, organic soy wax candles, using 100% pure essential oils. Working in partnership with the prestigious Watches of Switzerland, they wanted to create a themed candle as a gift for watch buyers.
Our brief was to create a cost-effective, stand-out candle glass that would be attractive to Watches of Switzerland’s high-end customer base while meeting The Bird Box’s sustainable ethos.
WHAT WE DID
Highly decorated glass
To keep the project cost effective, we advised using our off-the-shelf 27cl candle glass with a selection of decorative techniques.
A colour spray was applied to the outside of the glass to provide focus and contrast for the detailed decorative elements. Roman numerals and a clock face were then screen-printed, using gold hot foil print to highlight the clock dial adding that luxury feel that high-end watch buyers would expect.

The beauty of packaging
Creating something unique doesn’t have to be expensive. Working in close collaboration with The Bird Box, we transformed a standard clear candle glass into a unique and stylish product as a luxury gift to delight the customers of Watches of Switzerland.
